3月14日，鹽田港區(qū)平鹽鐵路場(chǎng)站新閘口正式投入使用新閘口位于平鹽鐵路場(chǎng)站西南角，與22米深鹽路相鄰，設(shè)有進(jìn)閘通道3條，出閘通道3條，可提供地磅服務(wù)新閘口出閘通道實(shí)現(xiàn)自動(dòng)放行和電子抓拍新閘口的開(kāi)通，滿足了平鹽鐵路及場(chǎng)站發(fā)展需要

作為平鹽鐵路場(chǎng)站擴(kuò)能改造重要工作之一，新閘口由原來(lái)位置改至22米的深鹽路路邊，方便集裝箱卡車(chē)及各類載貨車(chē)輛進(jìn)出場(chǎng)，提升操作效率而原有閘口僅供行政車(chē)輛使用，實(shí)現(xiàn)進(jìn)出鹽田港交通與社會(huì)交通的分離，減少車(chē)流的相互干擾

平鹽鐵路作為鹽田港區(qū)的專用鐵路，全長(zhǎng)23公里，在深圳平湖連接國(guó)家主要鐵路干線目前平鹽鐵路共開(kāi)通15條海鐵聯(lián)運(yùn)線路，廣東省內(nèi)6條，省外9條，線路途經(jīng)東莞、河源、韶關(guān)、贛州、醴陵、長(zhǎng)沙、重慶等地，將碼頭功能輻射內(nèi)陸腹地，為廣大的內(nèi)陸外貿(mào)廠商提供便利、快捷的服務(wù)
