3月4日，為支援香港抗擊疫情，保障深港兩地跨境生活生產(chǎn)物資運(yùn)輸穩(wěn)定，鹽田港集團(tuán)深港跨境貨源海鐵保障專線正式啟動(dòng)運(yùn)行，首批供港應(yīng)急物資（新型冠狀病毒抗原檢測試劑盒）通過海鐵保障專線實(shí)現(xiàn)水路運(yùn)輸根據(jù)市政府《深港跨境運(yùn)輸貨源組織專班工作方案》的指示精神，鹽田港集團(tuán)積極推動(dòng)深港跨境運(yùn)輸方式從陸運(yùn)向水運(yùn)方式轉(zhuǎn)型，以保障香港地區(qū)產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈、供應(yīng)鏈和生活必需品的供應(yīng)穩(wěn)定

針對(duì)中港駁船缺箱、缺倉和香港端對(duì)接配送等瓶頸問題，鹽田港集團(tuán)集結(jié)港口、鐵路和駁船等優(yōu)勢資源，通過海鐵多式聯(lián)運(yùn)，從省內(nèi)外緊急調(diào)配首批500TEU鐵路空箱，并與香港駁船和運(yùn)輸等公司接軌，實(shí)現(xiàn)統(tǒng)一調(diào)配、信息共享和功能合并，成功實(shí)現(xiàn)深港跨境水路全程一站式服務(wù)，開辟了一條深港跨境貨源海鐵資源共享的保障通道
