惠州荃灣煤炭碼頭一期工程是廣東省重點建設(shè)項目，其條形煤倉開創(chuàng)性的鋼結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計曾獲得2019年中國建筑金屬結(jié)構(gòu)協(xié)會“中國鋼結(jié)構(gòu)金獎工程”
施工方面，其開山邊坡采用柔性爆破新工藝，通過單排微差起爆達到最佳爆破效果；炸礁采用水下鉆孔爆破結(jié)合鑿巖工藝，減少對周邊水體的沖擊以保護魚類；碼頭軟基處理采用了華南地區(qū)首次應(yīng)用的分離式直連真空預(yù)壓新工藝和高效節(jié)能真空泵組成的新型軟土地基加固施工工藝；煤倉突破圓形煤倉的原有設(shè)計，建設(shè)2座國內(nèi)水運行業(yè)規(guī)模最大的鋼結(jié)構(gòu)條形封閉煤倉，網(wǎng)架安裝采取整體頂升、分條分塊頂?shù)鹾透呖丈⒀b工藝，全過程進行應(yīng)力自動監(jiān)測和網(wǎng)殼施工測量，確保施工安全
