經(jīng)集中審議，國家驗收組認為黃石新港符合《國家口岸查驗基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)標準》相關(guān)規(guī)定和要求，具備對外開放條件，一致同意黃石港口岸擴大開放棋盤洲港區(qū)據(jù)悉，黃石港于1980年經(jīng)國務(wù)院批準開辦國輪對外貿(mào)易運輸業(yè)務(wù)，1993年經(jīng)國務(wù)院批準對外國籍船舶開放，是湖北省兩個國家一類水運口岸之一，是湖北東出長江離海最近的口岸，也是鄂東四地市唯一的口岸
