7月14日，隨著“地中海索拉”輪穩(wěn)穩(wěn)掛靠碼頭，鹽田港區(qū)再添一條美西新航線USWC6至此，鹽田港區(qū)歐美航線增至44條，密度穩(wěn)居華南首位USWC6航線由2M聯(lián)盟開辟運行，地中海航運與馬士基航運共同派船，從鹽田到長灘約15天，在市場上頗具競爭力

此次新航線首航掛靠在鹽田的裝載量約為5800TEU，今后該航線逢周二掛靠鹽田港區(qū)，掛靠港序為:長灘、鹽田、寧波、長灘目前，鹽田港區(qū)每周近百條輻射全球密集的定期航線，為貨主提供更為彈性的選擇
