7月17日，黃石新港二期工程11-13#、21-23#泊位（水工建筑物）順利通過(guò)湖北省交通廳交工驗(yàn)收本次交工驗(yàn)收質(zhì)量檢測(cè)整體得分在湖北省水運(yùn)工程中名列前茅交工驗(yàn)收會(huì)上，驗(yàn)收組集中審議后一致認(rèn)為，黃石新港二期工程6個(gè)泊位水工建筑物滿足《水運(yùn)工程質(zhì)量檢驗(yàn)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》（JTS257-2008）的合格標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，同意工程交工驗(yàn)收并現(xiàn)場(chǎng)簽署了《港口交工驗(yàn)收證書》

據(jù)悉，黃石新港二期工程水工泊位于2018年12月28日正式開(kāi)工，建設(shè)過(guò)程嚴(yán)把質(zhì)量關(guān)、優(yōu)化安全管理、嚴(yán)格審核工程變更、控制工程造價(jià)，同時(shí)克服了新冠疫情、長(zhǎng)江汛期、高溫酷暑等重重困難，僅用一年時(shí)間就建成6個(gè)5000噸級(jí)泊位（水工結(jié)構(gòu)滿足10000噸級(jí)船舶靠泊）以及裝卸設(shè)備等，為新港新增1000萬(wàn)噸/年的裝卸能力，進(jìn)一步提升新港綜合吞吐和輻射能力，為鹽田港實(shí)現(xiàn)長(zhǎng)江戰(zhàn)略布局再添新動(dòng)力，助推黃石市加快建設(shè)“現(xiàn)代港口城市”
